To stabilize treatment results, patients should wear a retainer after completing aligner treatment. orthocaps® Clear Retainers can be made from different materials upon request. Three Clear Retainers are created per arch.

Lingual Retainer
A thin orthodontic gold wire is bonded to the back of the front teeth with composite to prevent the teeth from shifting back to their original positions. The retainer is produced in a transfer tray and can be bonded indirectly.

CERATAIN® Flex
CERATAIN is an innovative, digitally planned retainer manufactured with CAD technology from a ceramic-filled polymer with extremely high precision. Thanks to the ceramic content, CERATAIN is nearly invisible and resistant to breakage.
It offers perfect wearing comfort and a pleasant feeling in the mouth. CERATAIN is delivered with a transfer key for easy, efficient bonding with glass ionomer cement.
orthocaps® Quadhelix
The orthocaps® Quadhelix is a customized, pre-activated expansion appliance. It is manufactured after virtual planning of the expansion scope and adaptation of the appliance to 3D printed models. This method allows precise expansion of the dental arch and the simultaneous use of aligners while the transverse expansion is performed.
Preformed attachments
Attachments are usually necessary to transfer the forces exerted by the aligners more precisely to the difficultly positioned teeth. The pre-formed attachments improve the efficiency of tooth movement and are incorporated into the aligners. The attachments can be adapted to the patient’s tooth color and are therefore almost invisible when worn.
